    Obituary of Casimir J. Rozeski

    Casimer J. Rozeski, age 82, lifelong resident of Silver Lake, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at his home.

    He was born May 3, 1928, in Silver Lake, the son of Frank and Stella (Pokornowski) Rozeski.

    Casimer was a lifelong farmer, a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and a past board member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, serving for more than 30 years.

    He is survived by his wife, Valeria (Nowak) Rozeski; children: Diane (Tom) Holsapple, Betty (Paul) Opsahl, Jane (Barry) Bergren, Marylou (Ron) Brandel, Kathleen (John) Wozniak, George (Donna) Chap, Linda (Joe) Zitzmann, Nancy (Duane) Ebert, Roger (Julie) Chap, and Tom (Carrie) Chap; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Marcella Matousek.

    Casimer was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Stella (Pokornowski) Rozeski; a daughter, Sharon Rozeksi; sisters Delphine Rozeske and Evelyn Pesina; and a brother, Frances Rozeski.

    A Mass of Christian Burial took place Tuesday, April 12 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Fr. Tony Stubeda and Fr. Patrick Okonkwa were concelebrants for the Mass. Interment was in St. Adalbert's Catholic Cemetery in Silver Lake.
