Obituary of Clarence J. “Peanuts” Hudinski Sr.
Clarence J. “Peanuts” Hudinski Sr., age 86, of Arlington, died Tuesday Feb. 13, 2007 at the Sibley Medical Center in Arlington.
Clarence was born Aug. 14, 1920 in Chaska, the son of John and Catherine (Rozeske) Hudinsky. He was baptized and confirmed at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Chaska.
Clarence was united in marriage to Margaret E. Geyen at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents John and Catherine Hudinsky; brothers Leo Hudinsky, and George Hudinsky; and sisters Ann Schneider, Frances Schmitt, Agnes Harvey, Florence Hudinsky, and Cassie Segner.
Clarence enjoyed gardening, dancing, old tyme music, and cooking.
He was employed at Bongards Creamery, worked as a farm hand, whitewashed barns, worked at Catagatar Corporation, and was a custodian at Central High School in Norwood Young America.
He took great pleasure in watching baseball, playing cards, and watching the TV show, “Wheel of Fortune.”
Clarence is survived by his children and their spouses: Kay and Gary Koehnen of Belle Plaine, Clarence and Michele Hudinski Jr. of Chaska, John Hudinski of Glencoe, and Lori and Mark Jesberg of Victoria.; and grandchildren Angela, Jacob, Jenna, and Hunter.
He is further survived by sisters and brother-in-law Cathy DuPont of Blaine, and Josephine and Sandy Fiebelkorn of Chaska; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Marie Manteuffel of Waconia, Rose Ann Schneider of Excelsior, Dorothy Geyen of Mound, Florian Geyen of Excelsior, James Geyen of Waconia, and Harold Geyen of Spring Park; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was Friday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia with Father Conran Schneider OFM officiating. Interment was in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in St. Bonifacius.
Arrangements were with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.
