    Obituary of Margaretha Sail
    The Sheboygan (Wisc) Daily Press, April 22, 1911

    Mrs. Margaretha Neuens, nee Sail, a pioneer settler of this city, passed away in death on Sunday afternoon aged 78 years.

    Deceased was born in Burlinster, Luxemborg, October 6, 1833; and in 1854 immigrated to this country settling in Holy Cross, and the same year was married to Mr. Johann Neuens, who besides her children, namely, Heinrich of Sheboygan, Mrs. Minnie Diedrich and Fred of Miulwaukee; Adolph, Mrs. Celia Pastoret of this city and Louisa at home mourn her departure.

    The funeral took place under the auspices of St. Mary's church on Wednesday forenoon, the married ladies' society of which she was a true member, attended the funeral in a body. Rev. J. Kessler officiated. The remains were laid to rest in the St. Mary's cemetery. - Port Washington Star.

    Mrs. Margaretha Neuens was the mother of Henry Neuens of this city and was a woman held in high esteem. Her death will be deplored by a large following of friends.

    Obituary of Adolph J. Neuens
    The Sheboygan (Wis.) Press, June 9, 1948

    Funeral services for Adolph J. Neuens, 71, former businessman of Port Washington will be held at 2:30 PM Friday at the Horn Funeral Home there where the Rev. Anthony Gundrum of St. Mary's Catholic church will officiate at the last rights. Internment will be made in the old St. Mary's cemetery.

    Mr. Neuens was born April 8, 1877, in Port Washington, where he has since lived. On Aug 23, 1908, he was married there to Lucy Godersky. They operated the Neuens Confectionary at various locations in Port Washington for many years, retiring years ago.

    He died Tuesday morning at his home following a heart attack. He had been in ill health for a short time. The only survivor is his wife.

    Friends may call Horn chapel until the time of the services.
