DICKINSON -- Myra Fisher, 81, Dickinson, died June 27, 1999, in the Dickinson health center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with the Rev. Phillip Brown officiating. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson.

Myra Beatrice Fisher, a daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Kadrmas) Kubik was born on April 20, 1918, in Dickinson. She was raised on the family farm in Dunn County, where she attended rural schools. On Oct. 27, 1936, she married Charles Fisher at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, New Hradec, by Father Brydl. They farmed with Charles' parents for five years before buying and building their own farm in 1942 in Dunn County, 17 miles north of Dickinson. Myra loved their farm, she was interested in prairie animals and wild flowers. In November of 1976, Myra and Charles retired and moved to Dickinson where they have lived since. Myra had a strong faith in God and enjoyed baking, playing cards and bingo. Her husband and family were of foremost importance to her. She and Charles did everything together during their 62 years of marriage. Myra always looked forward to her grandchildren's activities. She will be remembered by her children and grandchildren for her unending love and support. Myra was a member of St. Ann's Society and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Obituary
Obituary of Eugene William Fisher
Eugene William of Tempe, Arizona, died December 17, 2013 from cancer at the age of 84.
Gene was born December 26, 1928 in Dickinson, North Dakota to Anton and Albina Fisher. He graduated from Versippi High School. Gene proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. He was married to Sheila Johnston on December 26, 1968.
Gene Fisher was a celebrity among contractors. There are few contractors who do not know Gene's name and reputation. For another thing, he had a storybook tale to tell: Gene started in the construction business at age 10 buying Fisher Sand & Gravel's first trucks. Gene continued his career with his love of gravel. He mined in over 850 gravel pits throughout his life time. Gene and Sheila went on to build several businesses in North Dakota. Gene's ability to engineer equipment surpassed most formally educated engineers, which was remarkable given his high school education. His patented air separator invention is currently sold in seven different countries all over the world. Gene was an active member of the Elks Lodge 1137 and served as Exalted Ruler from 1978 - 1979.
Gene is survived by his wife, Sheila, and four children: David Fisher of Fargo, ND; Greg and Suzanne Medley of Tempe, AZ; Thomas and Candice Fisher of Tempe, AZ; Mike and Christina Fisher of Dickinson, N D. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; Katherine Fisher, James Fisher, Ashley Fisher, Kristen Medley, Matthew Medley, Hannah Medley, Grant Fisher, Ryan Fisher, Ana Fisher, and Autumn Fisher. He is survived by two brothers: Arnold Fisher of Dickinson, ND and Jordon and Darlene Fisher of Dickinson, N D.
A viewing in Arizona will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bueler Chandler Mortuary, 14 W Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225. A viewing in North Dakota will be held on Friday, Dec. 27 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Ladbury Funeral Service, 1133 I-94 Business Loop East, Dickinson, ND. Obituary
Obituary of Joseph J. Kadrmas
A funeral Mass for Joseph J. Kadrmas, 101, Dickinson, is 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Dickinson, with Rev. Shannon Lucht and Rev. Chris Kadrmas con-celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
Visitation for Joseph is noon to 9 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil service at 7 p.m.
Joseph passed away Monday, March 4, at St. Benedict's Health Center in Dickinson.
Joseph J. "Joe" Kadrmas was born Sept. 24, 1911, in Dunn County, the son of J.J. and Marie (Kubik) Kadrmas. He attended country school and Roosevelt Elementary through the eighth grade.
On Oct. 26, 1938, Joe married Mildred L. Fisher. They moved to a farm northwest of Dickinson where they raised grain, dairy cattle and beef cattle. To this union, Joan, Arnold, Linda and Doug were born.
They moved to Dickinson in 1976, making it their home since. Always a farmer at heart, Joe loved nothing more than drives in the country to check out the crops.
He enjoyed bowling, having coffee with his friends and playing pool with his grandchildren. In his early years, he enjoyed fishing and pheasant hunting.
Joe was skilled at repairing the broken and refurbishing the worn. He was always appreciative of all things. He often looked for the positive in conversations, reassuring everyone that "things could be worse."
In his later years, Joe called St. Benedict's his home.
Joe was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4th Degree Knight of Council 1515 and Catholic Workman. He also made hundreds of rosaries which he gave to family, friends and the missions.
Joe is survived by his children: Joan (Andrew) Schmidt of Dickinson, Arnold (Gayle) Kadrmas of Lewiston, Idaho, Linda (Michael Schaal) Kadrmas of St. Paul, Minn., and Doug Kadrmas of Baltimore; nine grandchildren: Nancy (Martin) Betts, Robert (Melissa) Schmidt, Kenn (Kari) Schmidt, Mark Schmidt, Gregory Schmidt, Mike (Stephanie) Kadrmas, Dan (Julie) Kadrmas, Aaron (Samantha) Kadrmas, and Ellen Schaal; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe (Clara) Fisher, Gladys Fisher, and Martha Kadrmas; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 71 years, Mildred; grandson, Alan Schmidt; brothers and spouses, Louis J. (Emma) (Mary), John C., Robert F. (Edith), Edmond R. (Georgene); sisters and spouses, Henrietta (Frank) Dolezal, Francis (Laudie) Ridl, Mary (Charles) Dolezal, Bessie (Charles) Sivak and infant Eleanor.
