Beverly (Mrs. Roger) Jaenisch, 79, of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at her home.

She was born on Jan. 19, 1923, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Ole C. and Alma Boyum. She grew up and attended school in Fergus Falls then attended Concordia College in Moorhead. On July 6, 1944, she married Roger B. Jaenisch at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. After her husband's discharge from the Army, the couple farmed west of Fergus Falls and raised their three children.

In 1970, the couple moved to Pelican Rapids where they lived until 1998, when Mr. Jaenisch became a resident at the Minnesota Veterans Home and Mrs. Jaenisch moved to the Riverbend Apartments in Fergus Falls. She was a life long and active member of First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. While living in Pelican Rapids, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. The couple enjoyed winters in south Texas and spending time with family. She liked crafts and sewing.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband, Roger, who died on March 16, 2002; her parents; one brother, Charles; and four sisters, Hazel, Blanche, Myrtle and Louise.
